Rod & Reel Rental and Return Policy
When renting a rod and reel from Iceland-Fishing.com, the renter agrees to return the equipment, including the fly rod, reel, by closing time the following business day. All equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided.
Damage and Repair Charges
- Repairable Damage: If the rod or reel is damaged but deemed repairable by Iceland-Fishing.com staff, the renter will be charged EUR 60.00 per rod and EUR 60.00 per reel to cover the repair costs.
- Consumables: Items such as tangled lines, and similar consumables are excluded from damage charges.
Unrepairable Damage or Loss
- Unrepairable Damage: If the rod or reel is damaged beyond repair, the renter will be charged the replacement value of the rod and/or reel.
- Non-Return: If the rod and reel are not returned, the renter will be charged the full retail price of the rod and reel combination.

All rental waders and gear must be picked up and returned at Flugubullan Fishing Store, located at Hlíðasmári 13, Kópavogur. This is the designated pickup and drop-off location exclusively for our rental equipment.
Important Information
- No Additional Rentals: It is not possible to rent additional items directly from the store.
- No Payments at Pickup: All payments for rentals must be completed in advance through our website. Payments cannot be processed at the store.
